Fourth Grade: Romero Britto Art

Can we talk about how amazing these are?  I love sharing the art-work of brazilian artist, Romero Britto with the students because his work is so colorful and fun.  There are so many elements in his art and I love the designs that fourth grade came up with!
We looked at one of Britto's paintings and then the students picked an animal of their choosing (from the picture we looked at) and finally, used color, line, and pattern to fill up their composition.  Well done, artists!
