5 Senses and Flowers!


To wrap up our kindergarten art integration lesson, the students took a look at actual flowers, brought in by our amazing secretary, miss Paula.  The kids were so excited to examine the flowers and describe them using their senses.

Our Greentree


Students are creating leaves for our school tree created by our principal, Mr. Thomas!  I cannot wait to see everyone's leaf hanging on this.

High School Field Trip....What a blast!!!













 A huge thank you to Mrs. Hakos-Hruby for teaching us so many new things!  I cannot wait to do this again next year!


Last Art Club



For our last Art Club we will be creating a tile mural!  I love that the students get to try out a new material and technique, as well as leaving something behind as they move forward.  I cannot wait to see what they create!

I love how creative the kids got with their cakes!  Some had different layers, some chose to paint only a slice, and some chose LOTS of sprinkles:)  Yummy!

Art Club Field Trip!!!

Mark your calendars!!!  After school on Thursday, April 20th 2017, 4th and 5th grade Art Club will be welcomed at the High School to learn about the hand-building and wheel-throwing process in the Ceramics studio.  

Mrs. Hruby and her student volunteers will aid our group in a tour of the studio as well as helping the students build their own ceramic project.  

We are asking the parents/guardians to provide transportation to and from the high school.  Our tour starts at 3:30p.m. and ends at 5:30p.m.
